Most of these nomads are content with their preferred vocation of Shepherdry. Its been done since generations.
But now many are leaving it to take up jobs as coolie. The youth of Ladakh are trying to earn an extra buck due to ever growing tourism industry.
Let’s awaken the youth through more such true stories,
Lets make Ladakh a real awakened paradise,
Lets give birth to sustainable tourism at the ‘Roof of the World’.
