Life is a race for most of us. A repetitive, sometimes monotonous race. Meetings, backend, more meetings, traffic, frustration and success. An endless cycle! But sometimes, out of this endless monotony comes something extremely amazing! When doing ‘something’, anything to get you out of the rut, becomes a need.

 

That is when you dream. That too with your eyes wide open. Some dream of green hills and blue skies. And some, like Abhinav Deodhar, dream of playing, what he then called, “a strange UFO-like instrument”.

 

Today his dream is a reality. He is among the select few Indian hang drum players. Meditative & ambient sounds resonate in the environment with him.  Its like there is no past, no future, just the present moment.
